Joshua and Jericho Coloring Pages for Kids

Joshua and Jericho is more than the moment the walls come down. Inside the Story

After Moses died, God told Joshua it was his turn to lead the people into the Promised Land. Before attacking the city of Jericho, Joshua sent two spies to look around, and a woman named Rahab hid them on her roof and helped them escape safely.

God gave Joshua a battle plan unlike any other — march around the walled city once a day for six days, with priests carrying the ark of the covenant. It didn't look like it would work, but Joshua trusted God and followed the instructions exactly as he was told.

On the seventh day, the people marched around Jericho seven times, and when the priests blew their trumpets, everyone shouted as loud as they could. The walls of Jericho came crashing down, and Joshua's obedience led to an incredible victory.
